The Brief

The original property on Orchard Road was disjointed in both layout and appearance, with fragmented internal spaces and a lack of architectural cohesion. The client sought a transformation that would rationalise the plan, improve spatial flow and create a home that feels considered and contemporary. The brief called for an intervention that not only enhances functionality but introduces an interesting and uniquely modern aesthetic - reimagining the property as a cohesive and inviting family residence.

Our Solution

Our design addresses the original disjunction of the property through a strategic reconfiguration and contemporary architectural addition. By simplifying the internal layout and establishing clearer spatial relationships, we created living areas that feel generous and purposeful. The extension introduces a modern material palette and refined detailing, forming an aesthetic that contrasts with and elevates the existing structure while remaining sensitive to its scale.
