The Brief

The client commissioned a substantial new build home in Surrey, designed in a mock Georgian style that reflects the symmetry, proportion and presence of traditional Georgian architecture. The ambition was to create a high-quality private residence that combines classical design principles with the performance, efficiency and comfort of a modern home. Our role as an architectural design studio in Hampshire focused on delivering the technical design and supporting the build through to completion, ensuring the architectural intent was realised with precision.

Our Solution

We provided a detailed technical design and delivery service, translating the Georgian architectural language into a fully coordinated and buildable solution. This included the development of comprehensive construction drawings, detailing and coordination with consultants to ensure the design could be executed accurately on site.

Particular attention was given to façade composition, roof forms and classical detailing - ensuring the proportions and material relationships align with Georgian principles while meeting modern construction standards. Through close collaboration with the contractor and project team, we supported the delivery phase to maintain design integrity and build quality.

The completed home demonstrates how new build homes can successfully combine traditional architectural expression with contemporary performance.
