The property on Ferry Road was a traditional home in need of comprehensive renovation, with tired spaces and a fragmented layout that did not reflect contemporary family living. The client’s brief was to deliver a modern architectural intervention that refurbishes and extends the existing house, enhancing spatial flow, increasing natural light and creating functional, everyday living areas that feel both refined and comfortable.

Our Solution

Our design strategy fused a thoughtful renovation with a contemporary extension that elevates the original architecture without losing its inherent character. The existing home was carefully reworked internally to improve circulation and spatial relationships, while a modern addition expands living spaces and strengthens the connection to outdoor areas. The extension’s clean lines, generous glazing and refined material palette introduce a fresh architectural language that complements - rather than competes with the traditional home.
